One of the most common reasons for someone to call the doctor is because something is painful. You might have joint or back pain, or are concerned that you have injured yourself in some way. We have put some simple advice here so you know what to do in the first instance, and it might help you make the decision about when to call your doctor. If you are not sure, just call and we will make assessment over the phone as to whether you need to be seen in person.
