Lizzie Ripley - Lead Nurse Lizzie Ripley

Lizzie qualified as a general adult Nurse in September 2005, starting her career as a District Nurse.  Lizzie went on to become the Lead Nurse at the largest practice in Lewes managing a team of 12 Nurses.  During her time in Primary care she has completed her Masters modules in wound care, diabetic management, physical health assessment, pharmocolgy and nurse prescribing. When Lizzie is not working she can be found with her family, dog walking, watching karate and rugby or roller booting!!!




Lola Strom - Nurse

Specialising in Asthma, COPD & Smoking cessation clinic. Lola qualified in 1982 from Harefield and Mount Vernon Hospitals School of Nursing and started working in General Practice in December 2002.

Lola is proud to have been the only staff member to attend Wembley on the 30th July 1966

Debbie Simkins - Nurse

Qualified as a nurse in 1984, St Bartholomews Hospital, School of Nursing, London. Following on from that I worked in operating theatres then took a 10 year break to travel all over the world and then to undertake a degree in Biology and animal Behaviour.  I had my children, now aged 24 and 18, and as they became older I moved from part time work to full time at an orthopae3dic hospital.  I became a Practice Nurse 3 years ago and when not working I am interested in Wildlife, conservation and walking my German Shepherd dog

Healthcare Assistants

Healthcare assistants support practice nurses with their daily work and carry out tasks such as phlebotomy (drawing blood),  Healthcare Assistant Sallyblood pressure measurement and new patient checks.

They may act as a chaperone when a patient or doctor requests one.
