Physiotherapy can help a wide range of conditions including:
- Musculoskeletal problems: e.g. back, neck, shoulder, elbow, knee and hip pain, muscle imbalance, sports injury etc.
- Poor posture.
- Anxiety, stress and depression
- Respiratory problems e.g. asthma
- Neurological conditions e.g. Multiple sclerosis, M.E., Parkinson’s disease
- Post-operative rehabilitation e.g. hip/knee replacements
- Osteo/Rheumatoid Arthritis
Each session is an hour long. The initial session will involve taking a detailed case history, an assessment to highlight the current issues and problems and then a treatment plan will be discussed and agreed on between the practitioner and client.
It is quite likely that the client will be asked to remove items of clothing so that the problem area is exposed. If it is a lower limb area and you are more comfortable in shorts then please do bring to the session.
Suzy brings a unique set of skills to her treatments combining traditional Physiotherapy techniques such as Soft tissue work, Mobilisations and Manual Therapy together with more integrative approaches such as Medical Acupuncture, Yoga, Pilates, Cranio-Sacral Therapy, and Healing to uptimes client rehabilitation and outcomes. Suzy is also a trained Health Coach and works as a Coach as well as bringing these skills into her Physiotherapy sessions.
Suzy’s unique approach to treatments helps support each client’s individual needs, she is passionate about empowering people to help them themselves and be a co-creator on their healing journey.
