Strep A/Scarlet Fever

Thank you to all of those that kindly post-poned their regular appointments to make space for us to see parents concerned about the increased numbers of Strep A infections. For most children even if they do have contact with Strep A or Scarlet fever they will have a mild illness with no long term effects. We have a ‘traffic light’ tool that we use to assess any child under 5 with a fever, and you can find it there.
